2008 Fair September 4th - 7th
Please welcome our 2008 Fair Queen Devan
Miss 2008 Okanogan County Fair Queen Devan Pfitzer, is the daughter of Dan and Becky Pfitzer of Omak Washington. Devan has participated in the County Fair all of her life exhibiting many things from finger-paintings to her market lambs. In her spare time she is an active member in the Omak FFA Chapter, a waitress at Mickey's Chuck Wagon, and an active member in her youth group. Devan's Hobbies consist of riding horses, hunting, playing with her nephew, going for nature walks in the mountains, or just being with her friends and family. Devan is a student at the Omak High School and will be graduating June of 2009. Soon after graduation Devan plans to attend a Cosmetology school in Spokane Washington where she will receive her business degree and professional license in Cosmetology.
"Once Upon a Fair there was a queen who had many different dreams and ideas of how she wanted fair to be. From country buns to ice cream cones, chickens to llamas, fair always has a way to liberate the kid in all of us. In her eyes she pictured fair full of many different experiences for children of all ages." My name is Devan Pfitzer and I would like to introduce myself as that Queen. Growing up I would look up to the fair and rodeo queens and would wish that one day I too would be one of them. Being the Okanogan County Fair Queen has taught me not only about responsibility but about the kind of person I want to be. The fair isn't just another activity in my life. It is my life and I would love it to be a part of yours to. So come on down to the Okanogan County Fair on September the 4th through the 7th where dreams do come true.
May You Live Happily Ever After-
Queen Devan Pfitzer
